Illustration of a mobile dental surgery of the type to have been used to treat soldiers at the front. The surgery consisted of an ordinary hospital pattern pump chair, a portable, folding chair, a foot operated dental engine dental cabinet, swing bracket and light, gas apparatus and materials and instruments for the lling and extraction of teeth. Electricity was generated by a dynamo and stored in accumulators. Primus stoves were used for sterilisation of instruments.
