RADC Reserves Weekend March 2016
LCpl L Chamberlain, 202 Fd Hosp.
I have been an Army Reservist in the RADC for the past 6 years and served 8 years in total as a Reservist. This weekend was hosted by my unit 202 Fd Hospital at the lovely location of Shrivenham.
The weekend consisted of various
lectures delivered by members of the Corps who are specialists in their eld and at a level aimed for the whole team.
Humour within the lectures was a bonus and always appreciated. The weekend and future training weekends are advantageous

for us dental nurses to gain extra CPD and practise CPR medical emergencies in the surgery and a chance to get to know and meet other professionals from within our Corps and discuss our training needs as dental professionals and what we can gain in the reserves to further our careers. It was lovely to meet new and old faces I have previously worked with on locum posts.
It was a pleasure integrating with regular counterparts . As part of the weekend training activity there was a regimental function which was an excellent experience especially for JNCOs who have never attended a Regimental Function before.
It was an all-round excellent and well- attended weekend which will hopefully lay the foundations to us having more integrated weekends in the near future.
