Oundle Festival of Music and Drama
The entries are in! It sounds a bit like ‘the judges’ scores are in’ on Strictly, but actually it feels rather like that! The tension mounts for us as we get nearer to the closing date towards the end of January, and we wonder whether we will have sufficient entries for each day and therefore enough to keep our adjudicators busy.
Well, the good news is that we have almost 200 entries (slightly down from last year), but it means that five of our six days can go ahead as planned. We are very pleased to be welcoming some new individual and group competitors this year.
Oundle Primary School, who are regular supporters in our Music classes, are also entering Group Speaking with all eight of their classes taking part, and we look forward to welcoming the Laxton Junior School choir and band for the first time.
