London South Region – Team Bonding Day

On a lovely bright spring Monday morning with everyone still in the weekend mood, some would be thinking of a relaxing day in the garden, some would be dreaming
of relaxing in the Caribbean on a beach with an ice-cold coconut jelly, while others anticipating what new challenges the work day will bring. But not Monday 23 Apr
18, this was to be a different day. Military personnel were bound to Winchester on what was a voluntary team bonding day, following the recent South and London
& South East Regions merger. We made our way to Aldershot, some leaving at the crack of dawn to miss the Monday morning rush hour.
We arrived at Aldershot and the coach was already waiting for us (credit going to
LCpl Greenfield for organising the coach). When we all got on the coach there were so many new faces, everyone was a bit anxious at what the day had in store for us. To put names to faces we started a meet and greet amongst

Challenging is an understatement of the day. All activities were both physically and mentally challenging. There were tears, laughter, swearing, cheating and poor sense of direction moments where at
