thing that got us through was working as a team. The aim of the training day was to:
• Promote Military team cohesion amongst the region.
• Promote leadership, competitiveness, teamwork and esprit de Corps.
• Provide an opportunity to work
outside of a clinical environment. All these expectations were exceeded
massively, we helped each other through our weakest and darkest moments, witnessing new joiners and juniors amongst us taking charge and making decisions. Then there was competitiveness! With
the seniors proving to be the worst! There is no doubt we all built on our strengths, carrying each other with motivation. It was a day like no other, a priceless moment where through teamwork we all came out victorious and happy. We had all bonded as a family and, by the end of the day, despite the fact some of us were sore with aches and pains (and embarrassment due to some of our reactions when we allowed fear to take over), we were all happy and we laughed at the overall experience. The overall experience gave us a true sense of satisfaction and made us realise that our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
The only thing that was missing after such an accomplished day was ICE CREAM!!!!!!
A special thank you goes to SSgt Slade- Jones for organising the event and the staff from Winchester.
