Lakeside Healthcare
  The beginning of May brings good news. We welcome one more member to the medical team at Lakeside Healthcare at Oundle: Dr Sharon Grigson joins us, conferring a total of six GP partners here in Oundle. Dr Grigson joins after completing her GP training with the local Peterborough GP training scheme.

Requests for medications that have not been on repeat before, acute medications requests, cannot always be made using the above routes. Acute Medications often require review with a Clinical Pharmacist or a GP.
  Lakeside Healthcare does have full and part time employment vacancies within administration, reception and
nursing. Please do get in touch if you
are interested in a healthcare role, individual roles can provide training, no previous healthcare experience is essential. Roles do offer local commutes too!
Lakeside Healthcare at Oundle has
also seen month by month growth of Anima the new online consultation platform. Many thanks to those who have registered and used thus far. Feedback has been positive, we have taken Anima system comments back to organisation developers.

As mentioned, Lakeside healthcare
at Oundle supports in house training. This month we will focus on the wonderful achievements of our training Dispensary technician. Their role is based in Dispensary, together with the Clinical pharmacy team and GPs they help resolve medicines management queries, medicines stock and supply queries. Stock and supply queries are
   Repeat Prescription medication requests can be submitted in five different ways.
1. On the prescription telephone line open
9-11am Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
2. Posting a paper request to dispensary (box in
the building)
3. Online using SytemOnline
at their highest rate currently due to supply chain and manufacturing difficulties, a daily challenge for all Dispensaries. Training has provided time to develop pharmacy technician specialist clinical interest, Blood Pressure or Hypertension, the end result is this superb patient information sheet. Well done dispensary technician and the Dispensary team.
