Scouts Sailing a success
Reaching out to the Community we have enjoyed welcoming the Kingsbridge Sea Scouts to some Thursday evening sailing sessions. Retired Scout Master “skip” to many, Bruce Pritchard, fondly remembers when he used to sail Hornets off Smalls with the likes of Harold Cranch.
Last year he passed the batten of the group to Martyn Luckhurst. The Scouts have progressed their sailing skills well this year – with capsize practice always a favourite at the end of the evening.
