 RULES & REGULATIONS WATCH HOUSE TENDER
COMPOUND - RULES
• Tenders should be placed tidily in their allotted spaces without encroaching on adjacent spaces.
• The size limit on Tenders is 3.05 meters max o/a length.
• The annual fee and the allocation of spaces will be at the discretion of the Sailing Committee.
• Outboard motors are left at owner’s risk, must be clamped in an upright position on the ‘motor rack’. There must be No separate fuel storage.
• All boats must display a valid & current identification sticker, issued by the Club. Unidentified boats will be removed.
• The Watch House cannot be used for storage of boats out of season. All Tenders must be removed by the week- end immediately following New Years’ Day. Kayaks will need to be moved by the second week in October to allow storage of Club boats.
• Spaces will be allocated annually, per calendar year. There is no automatic right of renewal from year to year.
 TANK DINGHY PARK – RULES
Access   Housekeeping
 • The only access to the Tank compound is through the 5-Bar Gate at the top of the Ramp.
• The pedestrian gate at the opposite end of the compound is for the sole use of South West Water Staff only.
Mandatory
• There is a weight restriction on the roof of the structure. No vehicles of any type are permitted either on the access ramp, or into the Dinghy Park.
• The concrete structure is protected by a waterproof membrane, boat owners are not permitted to set any anchors of any type into the grass surface.
• Boats must not be tied to the compound Fence, but may be held down using small weighted bags, or buckets.
• Engines, fuel tanks and storage of flammable materials are strictly forbidden.
• All boats must display a valid & current identification sticker, issued by the Club. Unidentified boats will be removed.
• The boat park cannot be used for storage of boats out of season, all boats must be removed by the week- end immediately following New Years’ Day.
• Dinghies / Tenders should be placed tidily in their allotted spaces without encroaching on adjacent spaces.
• Boat Owners are responsible for providing their own trestle or frame to elevate their boats if required.
• No litter or redundant equipment may be left in the compound – this should be removed immediately.
• Boat owners are jointly responsible for cutting the grass in the compound and on the bank down to the road.
• The 5-Bar Gate should be kept locked at all times – except for the transit of boats through the gate.
• There is no car-parking facility associated with the use of the Dinghy Park.
Allocation of Spaces
• Priority allocation of spaces will be given to dinghies which are raced regularly throughout the season and for helms who have completed a minimum of three race duties.
• The annual fee and the allocation of spaces will be at the discretion of the Sailing Committee.
• Spaces will be allocated annually, per calendar year. There is no automatic right of renewal from year to year.
