TRAINING CENTRE
The RFCA for Yorkshire and the Humber hosted the official opening of Harrogate’s Joint Cadet Centre following its £750,000 refurbishment of the historic drill hall on 20 October 2022. The centre is home to both the Army and Air Cadets and also houses the region’s first virtual reality aviation centre for cadets, the Wing Aviation Centre.
It was opened by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant
of North Yorkshire, Mrs Jo Ropner, who is pictured unveiling the commemorative plaque with represent- atives of the Army and Air Cadets.
