I am pleased to report that Your Royal Highness’s Battalion has once again had a busy and fulfilling year. The primary role of a Reserve Unit is to support the Regular Army and this year we have been privileged to do so on Defence’s Main Effort – assisting our Ukrainian allies in their continued struggle for liberty. The present international situation, although unfortunate, has also provided numer- ous insights into the contemporary conduct of operations which we have been at pains to pass on to our Riflemen during training. We have also continued to successfully represent the Army and the Regiment in Southwest England and beyond, as reflected in our workforce strength which remains strong.
