‘Birds & Song’
There will be a special evening of poetry and music at Oundle Library on Thursday 9th November at 6pm, organised by the Friends of Oundle Library.
The theme for the evening is ‘Birds & Song’ and the readings will be a mixture of old and new poems, with music performed by local musician and composer Nick Penny. The readers include local artist and printmaker Carry Akroyd, and the well- known author Adam Begley.
Jennifer Anderson, Chair of the Friends of Oundle Library committee says: “Our poetry event last year was a huge success, so we’re really delighted that Adam, Carry and Nick are happy to return for another performance. The combination of poetry and music makes this a very special evening.” There will be refreshments.
Tickets for Birds & Song cost £6.00 and are available to buy in advance from Oundle Library.
