THRAPSTON COUNTRY
DANCERS
Country dancing is not only very sociable but helps you keep fit.
We meet at St James Church Hall, Church Walk, Thrapston which has excellent facilities, on the first and third Wednesday of every month from 2.00-3.30pm. All dances are walked through and a partner is not required.
Dances cover the 18th and 17th century to modern contra and square dances. Like a Barn Dance but more.
Every effort is made to keep dancers safe. Antibacterial gel is available, also white gloves. These can normally be purchased at a chemist.
If you have any queries please ring George on 01933 622827.
Angels and Sheep
Remember the angels who brought the good news of Christmas to Thrapston, Islip and Denford last year? Well this year it’s the
sheep who will be out and about from early December onwards. These gorgeous sheep
are patiently waiting for more to join them. If you are a knitter and would like to make some sheep please email juneddavy@gmail.com for the pattern – or use your own. Please deliver your sheep to St James Church, Thrapston
by Saturday 27th November or 1 Chandler Gardens, Thrapston.
