Regimental Website and online PRI
The Regiment now has its own website to host our online PRI and information, the latest Regimental News and Mercian Regimental association detail. Please visit www.mercianregt.co.uk .
This website will carry the most up to date news regarding regimental issues. The PRI shop will grow over time in a
gradual fashion so that RHQ Lichfield can ensure orders continue to be administered in a timely fashion.
MERCIAN 10 – the 10th Birthday
of The MERCIAN Regiment.
1 Sept 2017 will see the Regiment
turning 10 years old, to commemorate
this occasion RHQ is organising several events across MERCIA, keep an eye on the regimental website and social media for information on the forthcoming events.
Regimental Communications
RHQ advises that any notifications of deaths, Association events, and Regimental family issues are best sent directly via email to communications@merciantregiment. co.uk . This will ensure your notification, issue or query is dealt with in a timely manner.
RHQ publishes news and other information through Mercian Eagle, the Regimental Family e-newsletter and via social media. Please send any newsworthy content to us to communications@ merciantregiment.co.uk and we will consider it for publication.

Helen Rayson MBE
The Colonel of the Regiment and Mercian Regimental Headquarters would like to congratulate Mrs Helen Rayson on her award of an MBE on the Queen’s Birthday Honours list 2016. Helen and her Husband went to Buckingham Palace on 25th November 2016 for the investiture, and was presented the MBE by the Colonel in Chief of the Regiment, HRH The Prince of Wales. Helen has worked in the Regimental Headquarters Lichfield since formation in 2007 as part of the Benevolence Team, during this time she has helped distribute over £600,000 to our soldiers, veterans and Regimental family who find themselves in need, hardship or distress. Helen is
also a volunteer in her spare time at the Staffordshire Regimental Museum.
