footballer, a world famous violinist and a film and TV star, and no, it wasn’t Rowan Atkinson.
Most challenging moment Apart from chasing and trying to catch 11 piglets in an orchard at an Old Vicarage I was about to market – the real answer has to be COVID-19. We have staff, clients and the public to protect.
Most unusual property you’ve sold? We have sold two churches in Northamptonshire, by auction. We also had to deal with a house with no apparent owner and no keys, that was stuffed full of antiques and jewellery.
What makes Woodford & Co special? Our experience and personal attention sets us apart.
Who makes you laugh? People make me laugh. The public never cease to amaze me.
Proudest moment? Receiving letters from clients who thank my team for overseeing sales in difficult circumstances, particularly when dealing with deceased estate. Oh, and completing my 3000th transaction last year.
Dinner out or at home? Probably out – I’m

...and a favourite tipple A glass of Claret. You have a day off, what do you do? A day off
– what’s that? Actually, I like sailing when I can.
If money was no object, where would you visit? Alaska is on the list – I would love to sail the coast there, to see the bears, the whales and the glaciers, before mankind destroys them all.
Dog, cat or iguana – who’s at home? Diesel the Border Terrier. He comes to the office sometimes and is well known to clients.
Jaffa cake or Hobnob? Definitely Jaffa Cakes.
Something people don’t know about you?

Who inspires you? My grandparents and parents, each for a different reason. I have taken a little bit of each of them and put their values to work.
