5. To consider the election of the following
positions (SH);
NOTE 1 These officer positions were to have been voted upon in 2020, however there was no AGM due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. It was minuted on Oct 10th 2020 that President; Medwyn Williams, National Treasurer; Jean Forrester and Assistant Secretary; Mark Hall agreed to re-election. These positions are required to be formally ratified at this AGM. Please note, however, Mark Hall has since decided to stand down at this AGM after almost 10 years in this role and a total of almost 30 years involved in Trustee meetings.
NOTE 2 This position is currently vacant. Norman Dickinson has offered to fill the role of /membership Registrar.
NOTE 3 This position is now vacant.
NOTE 4 The Position of Webmaster remains vacant and is currently under review further to the introduction of the new Website and development plan activities.
NOTE 5 We have sadly lost two Vice Presidents, namely Ivor Garland and George McSkimming

Independent Examiner (SH). (Existing Accountants ; Cutler & Co. Chartered Certified accountants, Leeds).
11. Proposed NVS Rule Change
• Due to the new improved method
subscriptions, the NVS now manages memberships on a rolling 12 month’s basis i.e. they no longer have to run from 1st Jan to 31st Dec. The proposed change is as follows:-
• Proposal; NVS Rules - Clause 4. MEMBERSHIP AND AFFILIATION, Sub-clause e)
• PROPOSED CHANGE FROM Membership subscriptions become due on the first of January each year.
• PROPOSED CHANGE TO Membership subscriptions become due 12 months from the anniversary date of payment (a rolling 12 months)
12. Proposed NVS Constitution Change • In line with improvements to the
management of membership subscriptions and lessening the potential cost impact to Branches, the proposed Constitution change
is noted below. NB If left as is,
a branch currently has to pay approximately £5.00 for x2 SV Magazines delivered to each member that does not renew within 6 months and subsequently leaves.
• Proposal; NVS Constitution -
Part 2, Clause 9. Termination of Membership, Sub Clause (3) PROPOSED CHANGE FROM 3) any sum due from the member to the Charity is not paid in full within six months of it falling due;
• PROPOSED CHANGE TO 3) any sum due from the member to the Charity is not paid in full within sixty days of it falling due;
