if not managed. Whilst the
society did not want to lose any members Trustees agreed that the current time span for renewing membership before it is cut off should be reduced to 60 days maximum.
Ian Stocks gave a report on the website, zoom talks and face book all of which are working well at present. Trustees agreed with Ian creating a commercial “Partners” page on the website to enhance our relationship with our partners and provide them with improved visibility. Ian also asked that Branches and DAs let him know of any areas of interest that they would like to see on the website.

The next full scheduled meeting of the Trustees is planned for July 3rd when
the awards committee will also meet. As advised in the Spring SV Magazine, it was re-confirmed that nominations for awards through the society’s protocol should be received by end of May. At time of writing, the Trustees agreed that they would decide nearer the time if the July meeting will be in person at Crewe or via zoom.

Sandra Hall opened the Zoom meeting and thanked everyone for attending the meeting, including our president Medwyn Williams, along with Raymond Higgins who was invited to the meeting by the Trustees.
The first item on the agenda was to approve more of the society’s, merchandise as part of an ongoing project to standardise and improve the image of our society. A4 folders for new members were agreed along with Certificates for the National Show judges and Fellowships, and finally a new judge’s lapel badge, which

Gareth Cameron informed the Trustees that our seed company partners have been in-undated with orders and have been extremely busy which made setting up calls

He reported that DT Brown would be
providing each NVS member with a free packet of lettuce seed for our July edition of Simply Vegetables which is very generous support.
Gareth asked if Branches could let him know of any vegetable, they would like to have sponsored at their Branch Show i.e., that could be a potential seed supply from DT Brown for next year.
