into First World War.Victoria Cross airman Lt.William Rhodes- Moorhouse RFC commemorated in village. Guided walking tours of typical English country village with thatched cottages, honey coloured 18th century houses and Grade I listed medieval church.

The Society has produced five leaflets relating to the village and parish history.These include a village walk, a parish footpath map, Sulgrave Castle history, a Village History and Castle Green. It has produced a village history, Sulgrave –The Chronicles of a Country Parish, an oral history of the village and an analysis of the excavations of Sulgrave Castle with public information boards.

Syresham and District History Society
The Society was formed in 2004 to increase people’s awareness of the history of the village. It encourages the preservation and recording
of local history and artefacts.The Society arranges visits to places of historic interest and hold monthly meetings with talks on a wide range of historical topics.
