FAIRY TRAIL
in Thurning
Our forth Fairy Trail event takes place on May
10th and 11th this year, from 12-5pm. It’s a
wonderful family event.
It is situated in Thurning Village (PE8 5RE,
near Oundle) in a section of the historic ‘Feast
Field’ with fairy houses tucked into the small
adjoining woodland spinney, all waiting to be
spotted by children and families amongst the
fluffy flowering keck, which magically grows
at this time of the year! All fairy houses and
decorations have been lovingly made by ladies
living in the village of Thurning and Winwick.
There will be gnomes, fairy houses, modelled
giant mushrooms and lots more! Fun fairy quiz
sheets are available for everyone upon arrival.
We will have our usual comfy sofas to sit on,
face-painting, children’s tombola stall, mini fair
rides, candy floss and our travelling Magician,
‘Adamos,’ entertaining on Sunday afternoon.

bar, tea and cakes stall and a first aid facility.
Any families, or children, who want to enter
our ‘Fairy House Making’ competition please
