Members benefits via the NVS Website
 Some areas of the NVS web site are accessible to ‘Members only’. These areas include things like;
• access to NVS members discount
codes when ordering items from our partners (listed within the ‘Partners’ section)
• viewing of the Growing leaflets for various veg types (in the ‘Library’ section)
• access to the ‘members only’ directories (scroll further down the page in the Directories section)
To access these benefits via the NVS website & membership system, you need to set up a user account and by doing so, you can also view/do the following within your user account:

If you have already set up your user account, the top right hand corner of your NVS web site screen will show ‘My account, Log in’, however if you have still to set your user account up it will show ‘Create account, Log in’. To create your user account, click

 Enables you to change your password
   Contact details
 Enables you to update your name, email address, postal address, telephone number(s)

change whether you wish your details to be displayed in the Directories (applicable for officers, judges and lecturers) IMPORTANT, the Directories displays one set of ‘Primary data’, i.e. that which has a star next to it, so if you have two phone numbers, it will display the primary number only.
 Membership
 Displays only - your membership details e.g., membership type, payment amount, payment method and your annual payment due date.
 Giving
  Refers to donations that you may have made online via the NVS web site
 Communications
 Enables you to update your preference to say if you wish to receive ‘news and updates’ via your email address.
   Approximately 70% of the people listed within membership system
now have an email address listed but currently only 36% of the people listed within membership system have set up a user account. We do understand that not everyone is comfortable using a computer and might worry about trying to set up a user account, but that you may be comfortable browsing the NVS website. If you would like

 New NVS Judges for 2021
Congratulations to our four new judges who passed the exam which was held on October 2nd 2021.
Peter Fitch (Moray), Ian MacPhee(Clackmannanshire), Veronica Smith (Lothians) and Chris Spree(Kent) all sat their exam in Auchterarder, hosted by the Scottish Branch and were all delighted to have received their congratulations letter, certificate and new judges pin badge through the mail. Well done to you all for the effort and hard work you have put in to achieve this.
The judges exam comprises of
a theory paper, plus a practical exam containing eight individual classes to judge, two collections to
