Moving swiftly on into October and I must thank the Scottish branch for holding a judge’s exam this year in Auchterarder and my congratulations go to all four candidates who passed.
The Autumn Trustees meeting held via zoom welcomed Raymond Higgins in his new role as Assistant Secretary, Norman Dickinson in his new role of Membership Registrar and David (Sam) Forrester representing the Midland Branch as their new Trustee Rep.

As I write this, I’m delighted to say that Zoom talks have been organized by Ian Stocks throughout the winter months and hopefully you have already enjoyed some of these events as advertised on the NVS web site and Facebook site. These talks have been planned to supplement your local DA talks and also provide an opportunity for those members who live more remotely or don’t wish to travel during
the dark nights as you can stay in the comfort of your own home and enjoy an evening with the varied speakers and topics.
My continued thanks go to Kelvin
for producing the SV magazine every quarter and organizing such a wide range of interesting articles to fill our pages which I hope our members enjoy.
