Happy 5th Birthday to the Farmers Market – congratulations!
Thrapston Farmers Market celebrated turning 5 years old in September! A lighthearted conversation between High Street shopkeepers in 2014 snowballed, and the market is now a monthly fixture in the town.
In those 5 years almost £10,000 has been raised for groups and initiatives in the town. Fledgling businesses have been launched and some have gone on to become national success stories with their artisan products.
The market has also done a lot to help bring new people into Thrapston, and when they visit they use shops, eateries and businesses here - a win-win for all!
Thank you everyone who shops at the market - please keep coming and encourage your friends and neighbours to visit too.
