to the extent that it meant more bubbles for Jules. Huge thanks are due to Kate O’Halloran and her team for their creative expertise, possibly Bewitched by charm into giving us a bargain as the tables and chairs were decorated with covers, sashes and amboyant centrepieces. It was a truly international affair brilliantly advertised and marketed by Steve and presented by A eh. However, it was Al that achieved the unenviable Mission Impossible with the seating plan.
C Div was Footloose on the dance oor. However, there were no awards for Dirty Dancing perhaps because Patrick Swayze wasn’t there to complete the act. Luckily Neil had conducted a robust risk assessment and put in place a health and safety plan to cover those who took Center Stage. It was a late night for some and an early morning for others but unanimously the evening was enjoyed by all.
As for the awards, the Best Supporting role most certainly goes to Marzena, Louisa and the rest of the ESS team. Best Costume turned out to be an impossible contest with all of our guests looking Absolutely Fabulous. Unsurprisingly the award for Best Director went to C Div!
