Platoon, the Somme Company, finally had the time and space to complete their long-planned team challenge to raise money for The Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST). AFPST is an independent charity, existing to support the recovery of wounded, sick and injured military personnel, veterans and their families. Using the transformative power of snow sports, the charity seeks to foster a sense of purpose and belong- ing, through encouraging success and rebuild- ing self-confidence. By motivating, coaching and inspiring the athletes, their
physical and mental health can be restored.
AFPST is a charity that is particu- larly close to the hearts of 15 Pla- toon at RMAS. The brother of an OCdt was badly injured whilst on weekend leave from RMAS back in 2012. He had his heart set on commissioning into the Parachute
