Oundle Bowling Club
   Oundle Bowling Club was founded in 1866, originally as a quoits club, but changed to bowls in 1906. Club Chairman, David Walker, encourages new members to have a go...
Can anyone come along and have a go? Yes anyone can come along to have a go and meet our friendly members. No equipment is needed.
What age do you have to be to join the club?
Any age from 8 years upwards – families and juniors are particularly welcome.
How much is Annual Membership? Full membership currently £85.00pa, Juniors (up to 18yrs) £10.00pa, Seniors (19-25yr) £25.00pa, Associate membership £15.00pa.
What are the opening hours? The club is open for outdoor play (May-September) 11am till dusk and for indoor sessions (October- April) afternoons and evenings.
Do you play competitions against other clubs? Yes, we play friendly matches against Northamptonshire Clubs both indoors and outdoors and have a full fixture list.
What facilities are available on site? A full size outdoor green, a large clubroom with bar, a catering kitchen, changing rooms, facilities for disabled bowlers and visitors. We also have a large car park and the club is available for hire for social functions.
Is one to one tuition available? Yes, we have Bowls England fully certified coaches who can give individual and group tuition at no charge.
What does the clubhouse have to offer? Our clubhouse is situated on Occupation Road. It has a bar and a capacity of 120 persons. Many social functions are put on during the year.
Best things about the club? We are a very friendly club and pride ourselves on our inclusivity. We welcome all, young and old, and those living with a disability.
