What makes Brew Babu so special? We take so much pride in what we do and make, using all fresh local ingredients in our cakes,
scones, afternoon teas, breakfasts and
lunches. By offering specials we can
change our menu daily, which is always exciting.
Who makes you laugh? People! I love listening to people from all walks of life and they have so many funny stories. My family are crazy funny too and my team at work make me laugh every single day.
Proudest moment? Giving birth to my sons.
Dinner out or at home? Both, I love cooking and eating at home, but also love eating out and trying different kinds of food.
...and a favourite tipple to go with it? A BrewBabu flat white, however on occasions a glass of fizz, or a cointreau, lemonade and lime.
You have a day off, what do you do? Horrible admin, or I am still trying to do up our home, with two more rooms to complete, then we have to start on the garden! I also like to catch up

If money was no object, where would you visit? Oh goodness, Australia, China, Japan...
Dog, cat or iguana – who’s at home?
A 151⁄2 year old dog called Jet who I adore, and a two year old doberman called Prince.
What brings you joy? My partner Tim and my sons, Daniel, Ben and Sam.
Something people don’t know? I started the Vice Squad in Northamptonshire Police.
Who inspires you? My Grandad. He started in South Africa as a stowaway and ended up being a great business man. He dined with the Queen’s Mother, who was the Queen at the time.
