The Light Dragoons’ Charitable Trust
The Trustees of The Light Dragoons’ Charitable Trust meet twice yearly to discuss the finances, objectives and achievements of the Charitable Trust. The Finance and General Purpose Committee consisting of The Colonel of The Regiment, the Regimental Secretary and two Trustees, meets frequently, as a quorum, and makes decisions, which do not require full Trustees’ approval. The Light Dragoons Charitable Trust is a registered charity (1041982) which exists to provide support to the members and former members of The Light Dragoons, 13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary’s Own), 15th/19th The King’s Royal Hussars and their families. This support includes:
By contributing to the Trust you are helping to ensure that these important aspects of Regimental life are preserved. If you are able to donate £25 or more per year by standing order you will receive a complimentary copy of the Regimental Journal.
