In a year that saw various deployments around the world, new PT initiatives trialled and of course Covid, this year has seemed somewhat different!
With the Regiment finally back in one place, a new routine was quickly imple- mented, and all Sqns were back to con- ducting Sqn PT on a regular basis. A large overhaul of the gymnasium allowed

all Sqns to train specific to APTS during sessions, but also allow individuals to hone their personal training out of hours.
This year saw the resumption of the Princess of Wales competition in which the Sqns compete against each other in various sporting activities. After a hard-fought battle (and last-minute changes to the X Country route due to mother nature!) it
was HQ Sqn that reigned supreme and became 2021/22 Champions.
With Wessex Storm looming and the potential deployments to Poland and Oman, the main focus for the coming year will be structured APTS lessons to build on the strong foundations that have already been achieved.
