about 1930, it is a view from the crossroads between Bridge Street, Cosy Nook and Midland Road looking towards the town centre. All the buildings on the left were demolished during the 1960’s and are now the site of the Fire Station and Library. On the right, the nearest premises is the Delicious take-away and then the end wall of Rodney Davis Opticians.
