erected an open-air floodlight sports centre off Meadow Lane with two courts, one dedicated to tennis and the other a multi-use games area. They were available for hourly hire priced
at £4.00 for one court and £6.00 for both. Discussions with the Town Council lead to an agreement for them to provide a new court
at Meadow Lane in return for a percentage of the proceeds from the sale of the land in 2003. The wooden pavilion shown was donated by Scotts of Thrapston but suffered fire damage. The current clubhouse was opened in May 2007 by the then mayor of Thrapston (yours truly) shown above and the club continues to be one of the foremost ones in the county.
