 We are all outdoors!
From your garden to open gardens and Fletton Field to Great Big Green Week...
This month our features writer, Stuart Barker, has written about RAF Kings Cliffe and the mysterious disappearance of band leader Glenn Miller. Imagine our delight when we then discovered that there is to be a new museum about the airfield opening on the site this summer (page 11).
Hoorah! Fletton Field has been secured as an asset for the community! Congratulations to all involved in saving this green space (page 17).
If you need to breathe the fresh air of summer and feel some sunshine on your face, then why not pop along to either Woodnewton Festival
(page 22), the Open Gardens of Tansor (page 26) and Nassington (page 32), or join the Wellbeing Walks (page 24)? Whichever of these you choose to do, you’ll be surrounded by the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside in which we are all lucky enough to live.
The Barn Garden Centre talk us through an early summer garden – fragrant roses, exquisite peonies, towering lupins and of course the never ending job of weeding (page 27).
