Role of NVS Chair
I would like to inform you that our Chair
of seven years, Sandra Hall FNVS has

from her position at the AGM this August.
We are deeply grateful for all that Sandra
has done and continues to do for the
Society and we look forward to her
continued support going forward.
With this announcement, the process
36 Simply Vegetables
of selecting a new Chair to lead our team
of NVS Trustees and help drive the Society
forward begins. If any member is interested
in standing for this role, any nominations
must be submitted to myself, General
Secretary, by the 15th May at the very
latest, (but preferably by the 24th April
to aid planning of the Summer SV
Magazine). The nomination must include
confirmation by the nominee that they do
wish to take on the role.
For your information, should there be
more than one nomination, details of each
nominee will be published in the Summer
edition of the SV Magazine along with a
postal voting slip so that all members will
have the opportunity to vote for our next
Chair.
