Chairman’s Report – Councillor Craig Wheeler
I think we can all agree that the colder months I spoke about in the last edition are now well and truly here! Wrap up warm and stay safe on the roads. I would like to thank everyone who came and supported the fireworks
on Monday 5th November.
The funds raised have been donated to Dementia UK, my chosen charity for the year, so
I am grateful to everyone who has contributed and helped this worthy cause.

For one of my Mayor’s Charity
events I have arranged for two performances of the pantomime Aladdin to take place on Saturday 8th December at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are £5 per person with under 2’s free. All proceeds will go to my chosen charity Dementia UK. Both showings take place at the Plaza and there will be refreshments and a licensed bar to enjoy.

During January the Plaza will be undergoing an extensive refurbishment programme to include new heating, flooring, sound system, redecoration and new toilet facilities. The Plaza is already

GUIDE DOG UPDATE
Yet again the generous residents of Thrapston have demonstrated
their generosity with a total of £477.67 being collected for Guide Dogs as at 3rd
October. Doggy poo bags are available from the
Town Council offices.
Please help us to keep our streets clean.
