Oundle Town FC
Oundle Town Football Club was established
in 1883 – the oldest club in the whole of Northamptonshire! Vice Chairman of the club, Sinade Livsey, gives us the lowdown.
Can anyone come along to have a go? Yes, we are an inclusive club offering football from u5s to vets and walking football.
What age do you have to be to join the club?
Age 4. There is no upper age limit!
How much is an annual membership? £160
for league players, £100 for non-league players. Plus £20 registration for all players.
What are the opening hours? Training is on weekday evenings – contact coaches for specific times. Matches are played at the weekends.
Do you play competitions against other clubs? Yes, we play in many leagues.
What facilities are available on site? We have a large parking area, an 11-a-side main pitch, two 7-a-side pitches, a 9-a-side pitch and three 5-a-side pitches. We are developing a further 4/5
pitches in unused space so we can accommodate our growing teams. We have a clubhouse which consists of a bar area, two changing rooms, a referees room, toilets and an outdoor patio area. We have a food van that comes most Saturdays.
Is one to one tuition available? No, but we have a home education programe.
What does the clubhouse have to offer? A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, bar snacks, crisps, chocolate etc, a pool table (pool nights on Tuesdays 5-8pm). A flat screen TV with Sky Sports to watch football games. Patio area with a BBQ – beautiful on a summers day to sit outside with a drink, watching the action.
Best things about the club? It’s football family oriented with a vision to provide football inclusively to people of the local community.
