Project Funding
Thrapston Town Council wishes to thank East Northamptonshire Council
for awarding funding for two projects in the town. Firstly, we are delighted to have received £10,000 in funding from the ENC Community Facilities Fund towards the new under 5s play area in the Peace Park. We had hoped that construction would start after Easter but given the current government restrictions
this will need to be pushed back to later in the year. We were also very pleased to
be awarded £550 for a WWI themed bin through District Cllr Carter’s Empowerment Fund. The bin will be installed in the Peace Park as part of the improvements to mark the Centenary of the park being dedicated as a War Memorial to the town of Thrapston.
A huge thank you to East Northamptonshire Council for supporting the improvements to our town.
