Annual Town Meeting
This years Town Meeting was held on Tuesday 16th April in the Plaza. What
an amazing turnout we had; we were pleased to see so many of our residents there. It was great to be supported by our community groups: Midland Nene Sailing Club, Sea Cadets, Thrapston Amateur Dramatic Society, Thrapston & District U3A, Thrapston Heritage, Thrapston WI, Volunteer Action.
We welcomed two guest speakers: Nikki Parrott, Project Manager for Northampton & District Mind and PCSO Natasha Fountain from East Northants Neighbourhood Policing. Nikki spoke to the audience about Mind, who they are, how they can support people and what services they offer. Natasha spoke to
the audience about the role of a PCSO, how they differ from Police Officers and Specials, what powers they have and how they get involved in the community.
