Thrapston Arts Festival ‘A Celebration’ has finally arrived 1st – 8th June 2019
Thank you to everyone who has supported, contributed and encouraged our community to share in this “Celebration”. The week-long event begins in just over 2 weeks!
We have 32 events in 10 different venues spread over the 8 days, all taking place within Thrapston. From displays to exhibitions, workshops to performances – we hope there is something for everyone.
The only priced all ticket event is the opening event on Saturday 1st June, the “Variety Show”, taking place in the Plaza at 7.00pm (doors open 6.30pm). Ticket prices are £5 for adults, children are free (although a ticket must still be obtained). Tickets are available from the Town Council office at 77 High Street, but we would urge you to be quick – they will sell fast.
All other events throughout the week are free and are suitable for people of all ages.
I would like to encourage you and your families to visit the displays, exhibitions, workshops and performances throughout the week - programmes detailing “what’s on where” are available from the following locations:-

Our closing event, the “Festival Finale” takes place in the Peace Park on
Saturday 8th June from 1.00pm to 9.45pm.
We are praying for fine weather! It
will consist of various performances throughout the afternoon, concluding with an orchestral “Proms in the Park”
at 8.00pm. There will be food and drink vendors on site to get your refreshments – so don’t forget your Union Jack flags, chairs and blankets – we look forward to seeing you there.
