Getting out and about...
THRAPSTON LADIES CLUB
Thrapston Ladies Club was formed over 76 years ago and was previously known as Thrapston Ladies Fellowship Club.
The club meets on the first Tuesday of every month (excluding August) at 7.30pm in Thrapston Baptist Church.
We are a non -eligious group who come together to listen to a variety of speakers throughout the year and we also arrange club birthday meal, a summer outing and a Christmas meal.
We are a relaxed, friendly group of ladies and have at present around 40 members. Our annual subscription is £25, which includes our monthly fee for a raffle prize.
If you would like to give us a try, the first visit is free of charge. Please feel free to just turn

ROTARY SHOEBOX APPEAL
We will be holding a Shoebox Workshop morning in St James Hall on July 29th 10-12pm.
All donations of coloured pencils, rubbers, sharpeners, pens, gratefully received. We will make up stationary packs. We will also be making other bits up – come along (bring the kids) it is a wonderful experience. We sent 550 boxes in October and we have another 100 to send, due to sponsors at Christmas Lights.
Our Shoebox Launch Day will be in the Plaza on Saturday October 7th, 10am-2pm.

ISLIP LUNCH CLUB
Our next lunch dates are 28th April and 2nd June
Lunches run from 11am to 1.15pm. Come and socialise with old friends and new over a cup of tea or coffee, do some word puzzles, a quiz or a crossword, and follow that up with a two course lunch with tea or coffee to follow. Do come and join us. Booking is essential – please call Penny on 01832 730057 to book your place. We look forward to hearing from you.
GARAGE SALES FOR 2023
The next Garage Sale is Saturday May 20th 10am-3pm The Second Sale is
Sunday September 17th 10am-3pm
Registration is £5, all money goes to charity. Forms available from Town Council.
DROP-IN @ SOUSTER YOUTH HUB
We have recently opened an after school drop-in on a Friday 3.45-6pm at the Souster Youth Hub, 30 Market Road, Thrapston.
It is open to all secondary age young people and runs every week in term-time. Come along and join us to play board games, card games and table tennis. A great place to come and spend time with friends as well as making some new ones - and there’s always good snacks on the go!
