Oundle Hockey Club
Oundle Hockey Club evolved in 2012 and has grown over the past 10 years. It now runs two ladies’ teams, one men’s team and a junior’s section. We would love to continue building our club and encourage as many people as possible to come and enjoy the game of hockey!
Can anyone come along to have a go? We welcome players of any ability.
What age do you have to be to join the club? Our junior’s section is for ages 6-14, with players then progressing into our ladies and men’s teams. We welcome everyone – both beginners and experienced players.
How much is an annual membership? Adult: £125, Full time student and u18’s playing senior matches: £65, Social membership: £1. Juniors (age 6-14) 1st child: £40 per course, 2nd child: £30 per course, 3rd child: £30 per course.
What are the opening hours? All club training takes place on Tuesday evenings on the Oundle School Astro Pitches. Juniors 18:30-
19:30, Ladies 19:15-21:00, Men’s 19:15-21:00.
Do you play competitions against other clubs? Both our ladies and men’s teams play in Midland Leagues on Saturdays in the season.
What facilities are available on site? Parking and toilets are available at the Oundle School Sports Centre. On match days, our post-match teas are held at Oundle Cricket Club.
Is one to one tuition available? Our ladies and men’s teams have dedicated coaches on training night, as well as match days when available. We have several experienced players and coaches at our junior sessions.
What does the clubhouse have to offer? The Club uses Oundle Cricket Club – this is in a perfect location and a great way to socialise after a game with some food and a drink.
