ROAD SAFETY WEEK
December 2018 saw the national Road Safety week event span three days of fun activities. We saw the Whole Force join in with 25 teams competing for the coveted top spot of skilled driver! Across the few days, teams competed on RAF Benson’s driving simulator, tackled beer goggle challenges and attempted reverse driving skills. Unsurprisingly, 72 Squadron tackled the beer goggle challenge superbly!
Personnel were also advantaged with North Yorkshire Police providing a bike clinic and the Traffic Bureau showing how their safety camera vans are really for positive use!
A huge well done must go out to our road safety team, who put so much effort in to raise awareness and make the event an interactive and fun success. The team worked hard to provide information, presentations and activities to keep everyone at RAF Linton on Ouse safer on the roads.
