The event was held at The Salisbury Guildhall with HM Lord- Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Mrs. Sarah Rose Troughton. Also in attendance was the Army Southwest Commandant, Colonel Gary McDade
Summer Camp
After various changes of location for this year’s Annual Camp, Wiltshire ACF ran a successful summer camp, on our doorstep on Salisbury Plain Training Area at Westdown Camp.
Cadets spent 10 days training through the syllabus and additionally had Adventure Training days at Cotswolds Water park and visits to The Rifles Museum and the Cathedral in Salisbury.
Yuill Family
Rob Yuill, who himself was a Rifleman for many years has kept the family tradition going. Now as a Cadet Force Adult Volunteer with his children.
“When Cdt Cpl Yuill was promoted to Cdt Sjt Yuill on Annual Camp. The Juno Company OC, Maj Andy Emery, now has an unusual but pleasant dilemma.”
He now has three Sjt Yuill’s to choose from: Serjeant Instructor Rob Yuill, Staff Cadet Serjeant Catherine Yuill and Cadet Serjeant Mathew Yuill.
Donaldson Trophy
