The Youth Club have been extremely busy in 2022, starting with the change of contract from Action for Children to YMCA Trinity. Despite it not being an easy transition, this has not affected the delivery of youth work or quality of opportunities provided. This is highlighted by the number of projects the Youth Club members have been involved in over the past 6 months, which are listed below.
Easter Street Party - Youth Club members supported the Community Support Team by providing refreshments for families, they also staffed the craft stalls and helped with set up and clear away.
Remembrance Garden Project – As part of the Covenant funding Youth club received some money to enhance the Remembrance gardens with new flowers.
First Aid Course - 21 Young people obtained a first aid certificate by completing an official training programme.
The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee - The youth club yet again assisted Community Support at the fabulous event held on station to Celebrate the Queen’s 70th Anniversary.
