The department has been at the forefront
of supporting not one, not two, but three
rotations of Op CABRIT this year. From
Poland’s icy conditions to the logistical
juggling act of moving stores across
Europe, the team has risen to the chal-
lenge every time. Capt’s Dale Thomas
(QMT), and John Davies (QM) have both
completed a tour as the National Support
Element (NSE) Comd in Poland. Mean-
while, INTERFLEX has kept WO2 (Nav)
Navunisaravi (RQMS) and the rest of
that every task has been
approached with gusto and
a healthy dose of sarcasm.
The Real Heroes
While the leadership team
has kept things ticking at
the top, the real work has
been done by the unsung heroes of the
department. SSgt Eddy Edwards, Sgt’s
Dave Watson, and (Del) Delana, along
with the rest of the gang have continued
to provide the stability and expertise that
Looking Ahead
As we close out 2024, we’re
already gearing up for
another ■■■ year. With more
deployments, infrastructure
projects, and the constant
challenge of managing
stores, 2025 promises to be
just as hectic - but also just
as rewarding.
To the entire QM Depart-
ment: thank you for your
hard work, your resilience,
and your ability to laugh in the face
of logistical chaos. Here’s to another
exciting year of making it all happen!
