Chairman’s Report
What an amazing month
of activities in Thrapston during June. We concluded the Arts Festival with the ‘Proms in the Park’. Flags were waving, people
were singing and a few
drinks were consumed to lubricate the throat. We
were all drenched during
the morning, setting up
the gazebos, helping
with the stage crew and guiding stallholders to their positions. Thankfully the
rain abated, allowing us to deliver the full programme
of choirs, song/dance, traditional music and the full orchestra, chorus and soloists.

have returned to the High St’. Thank you so much to the ‘Yarn Bombing’ group.
I know you were not seeking publicity, you just wanted to share your passion
of knitting with our community. You have reached out in totally unexpected ways, the goodwill, friendship and pleasure that has been generated is greatly appreciated by the whole town.
The month came to an end with the ‘Charter Fair’. Thank you so much to the
