The Reading Agency and Libraries Present Summer Reading Challenge 2019
Keep supporting the Thrapston Library over the summer
The Summer Reading Challenge
is taking place in the Library from Saturday July 13th to Saturday September 7th. The theme this
year is entitled Space Chase, to commemorate 50 years since the moon landing, so the children’s area has become ‘space’ themed and they will land on the moon when they have completed reading the required number of a minimum of 6 books. The FoTL will be awarding prizes
to any child that has completed the challenge by way of a prize draw
from names in a hat. The draw will take place as soon as possible after Saturday September 7th. There will also be some space themed children’s activities taking place throughout these weeks and the details will be available in the Library.
Don’t forget that the Library is now open on Tuesdays from 10am to 2pm.
