Many thanks to all who supported us by coming to our Wedding Dress Celebration Exhibition and to the service afterwards. We had some lovely comments, both said to us and written in our book. We are very grateful to Janice Colson and all the team for their hard work in putting it all together, helping out during the exhibition and clearing everything away afterwards.

THEY’VE ‘BIN’ PAINTED
Very recently the litter bins on High Street received a facelift funded by Thrapston Farmers Market. After years of looking tired and scruffy, the committee paid for 5 bins in the town centre to be
repainted and repaired by J&S Pendred of Islip. The bins are owned by East Northants Council which, understandably, has not prioritised this maintenance. The market team felt a lick of paint was just what they needed to smarten up our High Street.

Congratulations and thank you to Thrapston Yarn Bombers for creating
a media sensation with the knitted Thrapston High Street. St James Church was delighted to host the knitting and to welcome so many people into the church to see it – many who had come from far and wide. Many of the knitted buildings have been generously donated to their real life counterparts so look out for them when you are in the High Street. Absolutely amazing work ladies. What next?
