THRAPSTON PLAZA OPERA
JUBILEE CONCERT
All are welcome to the Jubilee Concert in St James Church Thrapston at 4pm on Saturday 4th June featuring classic opera highlights and royal music reflecting the occasion being sung by TPO soloists and chorus with String Orchestra accompaniment.
Tickets £5 available on the door to include refreshments after the concert.
Thrapston Country Dancers
Our small group is still active despite all the problems with Covid etc. We aim to provide a selection of dances old and new which everyone can manage. Nothing complicated. We are a very sociable and friendly group and beginners are very welcome. We meet at St James church hall on the first and third Wednesday monthly. Do come along for lighthearted exercise to music. Contact is George 01933 622827.
AUDITIONS
Local singers are invited to attend the open auditions for next year’s production of Massenet’s “Manon” being held in the Thrapston Plaza on Sunday 12th June at 2pm.
Audition pieces available on the website or from Vincent Davy.
Whilst only those seeking solo rôles will actually audition, this is an opportunity for chorus singers to learn about this fun-filled romantic opera which will be performed
in February 2023. No previous experience required; just come to enjoy singing with others.
