Christmas week in the British Army is one of the lasting good events that no matter how busy, we make sure to take advantage and enjoy it. So why not dip ourselves in the North Sea in the middle of winter! That’s how the week started by conducting Regimental PT at Holkham beach, earning the coming
week’s calories.
The day started with the
traditional gunfire rations
and breakfast baps delivered
by Sqn staff, appreciation
for the coffee and ketchup
stains on bedding varied!

the baps and brews were

cross briefs, giving the Sqns an oppor- tunity to showcase what they have been up to whilst injecting a bit of humour. The QM took the opportunity to reiterate how busy HQ Sqn always are and the RAO department subversively rehearsed A Life of Brian. Dinner followed, with any misdemeanours (throwing of sprouts) becoming a source of practice for the newly qualified Drill Instructors! After dinner the hosting in the various messes continued long into the night. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!

must have been a flu going round the Troopers as they all lost their voice and the Officer cohort managed to pip it.
Next up we conducted Regimental
Nothing says enjoy the day like a howling PT session
