Rauston Quay thronged with holidaymakers and visitors. The annual Easter Craft and Car Boot sale was in full swing and stretched for a mile and a half along the seafront and harbour. Anything and everything was for sale. The event brought people in from neighbouring towns and villages to sell their crafts, and charities took advantage to raise funds for needy causes.
At one such charity stall, a young man was showing a customer a second shopping trolley: ‘You can have this one for four pounds. We’ve had it in the shop for ages. It seems no one wants a bright yellow trolley these days.’
