display windows are fantastic but the one thing that people always comment on is our wonderful vaulted cellar – it’s enchanting!
What’s your favourite part of the job? I never tire of meeting people and I absolutely love sourcing our products and still get very excited when we launch a new collection!
Any famous people visited? We have shipped our goods to one or two well-known celebrities who ordered with us online during lockdown.
Your favourite item on sale at the moment?
A beautiful handbag – we have recently starting importing stunning bags from Florence!!!
How has the High Street changed since you’ve been part of it? When I first came to Thrapston there were a few empty buildings and
there was nowhere near the hustle and bustle that you see every day now. It is a pleasure to be part of this diverse, independent High Street.
What’s going to be your Christmas best seller? Our ladieswear and accessories are always very popular at Christmas and I also think our gorgeous, Lincolnshire made wax melt collections from Frecklface Home Fragrance will again be very, very popular.
Any funny stories? Whatever we do here, we try to have fun, the team are often laughing!
Who makes you laugh? As you can probably imagine, I love The Sewing Bee and presenter Joe Lycett always makes me laugh!
Who inspires you? Individuals who strive to make a difference, and humanitarians – I am always in awe of the compassion and dedication of people who dedicate their life to helping others.
