Calling all theatre fans! Thrapston Dreamers want you...
Calling all children who’d like to appear on stage telling a magic-inspired story! Calling all young people who’d like to develop their singing, acting or dance skills! Your chance to join in a new show for Thrapston is on its way and young performers and backstage crew can register now to take part.
The musical “Descendants” is coming to town thanks to Thrapston Dreamers. As the tenth show from the Dreamers team, this
will be a milestone production and the stage doors are now open for Dreamers past, present and future to join in. The current initial preparations for the show come after the panto production of ‘Babes in the Wood’ at the Plaza earlier this year, which saw more than 30 young people take part; there’s room for even more for the new show.
For the show, which will be staged in late July, there will be a range of opportunities for actors, dancers and singers (and those who combine all three) in both the chorus group and the team of principals. For children and young people who prefer to be backstage

There’s a buzz in the air – it’s the U3A’s next meeting...
Neil Hallam, one of our members, will tell us all about Bee Keeping on Friday 17th April at the Plaza between 10.30am and noon (doors will open at 09.50am).
We welcome visitors BUT, unfortunately, we are unable to allow them access
before 10.15am and only then if there is seating available. Fire regulations restrict the numbers permitted in the hall and it is important that priority is given to members. The cost for each visitor is £3, which includes refreshments.
If you want more information about the U3A, please ring Sue Campbell on 07753635666 or email to publicitythrapstonu3a@gmail.com

help there too.
The new show tells the story of the
children of some famous fairytale characters, both heroes and villains, as they tackle their days at prep school.
To register for the next show or to find out more about the group or show, check the Thrapston Dreamers’ page on Facebook or email: thrapstondreamers@yahoo.com
It’s nearly shoebox time – Operation Christmas Child...
April 18th is the date for our first Operation Christmas Child Workshop! It will be held in St James’ Church Hall from 10am until 12pm.
There will be an opportunity to prepare items for the shoeboxes, refreshments, raffle and a ‘for sale’ table. Come along and have fun and chat, and know that you are helping children who have nothing.
Lindsey and I look forward to your help and support and making you very welcome!
